EBM Official Nonprofit for Bryn Spejcher to Fulfill Community Service Hours

Heidi has worked with Every Brain Matters (EBM) since 2023 as an independent contractor. When the cannabis-induced psychosis involuntary manslaughter trial for Bryn Spejcher was scheduled in late 2023, Heidi requested that she cover one or two days of it for EBM. The trial was gripping. 

It starkly reveals the misinformation about the risks of THC. In December 2023, Bryn Spejcher was found guilty by a jury of her peers for involuntary manslaughter. In January 2024, the judge sentenced her to 100 hours of community service to educate the public about the mental health harms of THC. 

In April 2024, Every Brain Matters was officially chosen by Bryn Spejcher’s probation officers to help her fulfill her community service hours. In partnership with Bryn Spejcher, Heidi and EBM are looking forward to debunking the prevailing misinformation to prevent more senseless cannabis-induced psychosis and violence.
