Speaking for Laguna Beach High School Students

Marci Mednick, MPA, Community Development Specialist of Providence Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach, reached out to me to speak to youth at Laguna Beach High School about the harms of THC. I gave a presentation about how I experienced psychosis in one of the few times I used marijuana. I discussed how my brother used marijuana regularly and became homeless with schizophrenia. My brother’s story was the inspiration for the book we wrote together, A Night in Jail. Marci let me know later that the students learned a lot from it. Here are some comments they provided below.
