My Statement Aired on 3 California TV Networks! 

(I was in a press conference against SB58 to legalize psychedelics)

There was a press conference to urge Governor Gavin Newsom to veto a bill that would legalize psychedelics in California. Frank Lee, a powerhouse leader against drugs, asked me at the last minute to speak on behalf of my good friends from Moms Strong.

I am so glad I had the opportunity because my statements were aired on KRON (San Francisco), KGET (Bakersfield) and KTLA (Los Angeles)!

Here’s what I said: 

If it’s legal then it’s very acceptable. It’s just like marijuana. And the kids will say, as Ms. Di Silva said, ‘Well, they wouldn’t legalize it if it wasn’t safe.’ If SB58 is signed into law, then the social acceptance of these harmful drugs will grow stronger. And as a result, there will be more youth who will use it.
